Fee for products

The fee (DKK 21.000 in 2024) for maintaining a notified product must be paid once a year and is due for payment every year on 1 January.

The fee for registration of a new product will be calculated per month based on the annual fee. For example a registration of a new product in July 2024 will cost DKK 10.500 (6 x DKK 1.750).

Legal basis:
The fees for e-cigarettes are charged on the basis of: 

• Executive order no. 599 of 3 June 2016 on notification of electronic cigarettes and refill containers etc. amended by Executive order no. 273 of 28. Febuary 2022 (only in Danish) 
• Executive order no. 265 of 25 February 2021 on notification of refill containers without nicotine amended by Executive order no. 274 of 28 Febuary (only in Danish)

Fees for marketing places

The fee of DKK 2.450 for maintaining registration of a marketing place must be paid once a year and is due for payment every year on 1 January.

Legal basis
The fee for marketing places are charged on the basis of: 

• Executive order no. 266 of 25. February 2021 on a registration scheme for manufacture, storage and marketing of electronic cigarettes and refill containers with or without nicotine amended by Executive order no. 275 of 28. February 2022.

The fee for application for authorisation is charged on the basis of Statutory Order no. 1414 of 3 December 2018 (in Danish).

From 1 July 2024 the fee for application for authorisation is charged on the basis of Statutory Order no. 722 of 12/06/2024 (in Danish)

The fee for application as a technically responsible person is charged on the basis of Statutory Order no. 1415 of 3 December 2018 (in Danish)
